Windows with Server-based Print Queues

With a Server-based Print Queue, the WPS870G is installed on an existing Network Server (Windows, Unix, or NetWare), rather than on your computer.

If your Network Administrator uses this system, each Windows client must be set up to work with your network server as follows:

1Open your Printers folder, and start the Add Printer Wizard by clicking Start > Settings > Printers.

2Double click Add Printer.

3When prompted, select Network Printer and click Next.

4When prompted for Network path or queue name:

– On Windows 98SE/ME, click Browse.

– On Windows 2000/XP, leave the field blank and click Next.

5Browse the network and locate the Server and Printer (or Print Queue) that your Network Administrator advised you to use.

6Click OK, then Next.
