Las siguientes definiciones describen los controles y las funciones del panel de control del generador DCA-400SSV (Figura 6).

1.Lámpara testigo – Indica que el generador esta trabajando adecuadamente.

2.Luz del panel – Normalmente usada en áreas oscuras o por la noche. Cuando se activa, las luces del panel se iluminarán. Cuando el generador no este en uso, asegúrese de apagarla con el interruptor en la posición de OFF (APAGADO).

3.Voltímetro CA – Indica el voltaje de salida presente en las conexiones de las terminales de salida de U,V yW.

4.Medidor de frecuencia – Indica la frecuencia de salida en hertz (Hz). Normalmente 60 Hz.

5.Amperímetro CA – Indica la cantidad de corriente que es extraída de la carga del generador por el circuito derivado seleccionado por el interruptor del amperimetro seleccionador de fase.

6.Interruptor del voltímetro de inversión – Este interruptor permite al voltímetro CA, indicar fase a fase el voltaje entre cualquiera de las dos fases de las terminales de salida ó apagarse.

7.Interruptor del amperímetro de inversión – Este interruptor permite al amperímetro CA, indicar el flujo de corriente a la carga conectada para una fase de las terminales de salida ó apagarse. Este interruptor no afecta la salida de generador de ninguna manera, es solamente para la lectura de corriente.

8.Interruptor de la luz del panel – Cuando se activa encenderá la luz del panel de control.

9.Control regulador de voltaje – Permite el ±15% del ajuste manual de la salida de voltaje del generador.

10.Interruptor automático principal – Ente interruptor principal de tres polos,1,000 amp esta provisto para proteger las conexiones de la terminal de salida de U,V y W de sobrecargas.

11.Autorrcontrolador del motor On/Off (Encendido/ Apagado (MPEC) – Este

controlador tiene una línea vertical de luces (LED) (recuadro), que cuando se ilumina, indica que se ha detectadounmalfuncionamientodel motor (alguna falla). Cuando una falla ha sido detectada el

controlador del motor evaluará la falla y todas las fallas principales apagarán el generador.

Durante el ciclo de arranque, el MPEC intentará arrancar el motor por 10 segundos antes de desengranar. Si el motor no acciona (arrancar) en el tercer intento, el motor se apagará por el controlador del motor de protección del arranque excesivo. Si el motor acciona (engrana) a una velocidad (RPM) que no es segura, el controlador apagará el motor por el iniciando la fase de protección de velocidad excesiva.
