*Fluorescent white balance can be fine-tuned to accommodate a wide variety of artificial lighting, from stadium lighting with low color temperatures to mercury-vapor lighting with high color temperatures. Users of the D1 should note that the color temperatures that result when fluorescent white-balance is fine tuned differ widely from the values used in the D1H.
