You can choose the tone that your phone uses to notify you of an incoming call. This setting does not affect any incoming text message alert tones.
1Press Menu 3 (Profiles). Your phone lists each profile.
2Use [graphic] or [graphic] to scroll to the desired profile in the list for which you want to set the ringing options, and press Options.
3Select Customize and press OK.
4Scroll to Ringing options and press Select.
5Scroll to one of the ringing options, as described below, and press OK.
Ring | The phone rings until it is answered. |

Ascending | Ringing volume increases (gets louder) if the |
| phone is not answered. |

|
Ring once | The phone rings once to indicate an incoming |
| call. |
|
|
Beep once | The phone beeps once to indicate an incoming |
| call. |
|
|
Caller groups <?> | Sets the ring to a silent ring, unless a call comes |
| from a number within a caller group. Use or to |
| scroll to the desired caller group(s), then press |
| Mark to select or Unmark to deselect them. |

|
Silent | The phone makes no sound. |
