Use to photograph flowers, insects and other small objects at close range.
•Macro mode (A31) will be turned on and the camera automatically zooms to the position at the closest distance at which the camera can focus.
•The closest distance at which the camera can focus varies
depending on the zoom position. At the zoom position (wide angle position before the Kicon) where the Ficon and zoom display glows green, the camera can focus on subjects as close as 4 cm (1.6 in.) from the lens. At the

Use indoors where flash photography is prohibited (for example, in museums and art galleries) or in other settings in which you do not want to use the flash.
•The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame.
•BSS (best shot selector) is used when shooting (A98).
