IAutofocus Mode

Set to D(Movie) Md(Movie menu) MIAutofocus mode

Choose how the camera focuses in movie mode.

Option

Description

ASingle AF

Focus is locked when the shutter-release button is pressed.

(default setting)

 

BFull-time AF

The camera focuses continuously.

To prevent the sound of the camera focusing from interfering with

 

recording, use of Single AF is recommended.

 

 

wElectronic VR

Set to D(Movie) Md(Movie menu) MwElectronic VR

Choose whether to use electronic VR (vibration reduction) when shooting movies.

Option

Description

wOn

Reduce the effects of camera shake in all movie modes.

kOff (default setting)

Disable electronic VR.

 

 

When vibration reduction is enabled, the current setting is displayed during shooting (when Off is selected, an icon for the current setting is not displayed) (A6).
