Shooting in Scene Mode

Taking Pictures for a Panorama

The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame. Use a tripod for the

best results.

1 Press the Abutton in shooting mode to display the shooting-mode selection menu and use the multi selector to select p(Panorama assist) (A33).

Panorama direction icons (I) are displayed to show the direction in which pictures will be joined.

and press the kbutton.

Select how pictures will be joined together in the

completed panorama; right (I), left (J), up (K) or down (L).

the direction pressed and press the kbutton to

 

 

 

 

 

 

choose the direction. A white panorama direction icon (I) will be displayed in the chosen direction.

Apply flash mode (A28), self-timer (A30), macro mode (A31) and exposure compensation (A32) settings with this step, if necessary.

Press the kbutton again to reselect the direction.

3 Take the first picture.

One third of the last picture taken will be displayed partially transparent.

4 Take the next picture.

Compose the next picture so that one-third of the frame overlaps the previous picture.

Repeat until you have taken the necessary number of pictures to complete the scene.
