Installing Programs
You can download and install applications from the Windows Store, or from other trusted publisher, a CD/DVD from an external device, and from your home or business network. Most programs written for Windows 7 will also work with Windows 8 however some older programs may run poorly or not at all.
Deleting Apps
Should you wish to remove an app, you can uninstall it. Go to the Start Menu and swipe up from the center of the screen to access the Apps Menu. Then tap and hold the app you wish to delete for
Reinstall Apps
To reinstall purchased apps that were once deleted, (and if still available in the Windows Store):
1.Open the Windows Store tile and sign in.
2.Swipe down from top of the screen, tap Your Apps.
3.Tap the app you wish to install, then Install.
View Downloads
To view downloads, use the Search box and type in Search Downloads. Tap on the selected file to view.
