Set to A, B, C or DMdMA, B, C, D(shooting menu) (A105) MImage size

Choose the size of pictures in pixels for recording.

Pictures shot at smaller sizes require less memory, making them suited to distribution by e-mail or the web.

Conversely, the larger the image, the larger the size at which it can be printed or displayed without becoming noticeably “grainy,” limiting the number of pictures that can be recorded.

The icon for the current setting is displayed in the monitor in shooting and playback modes (A8, 9).

CNotes on the Image Size Setting

Changes made to the image size setting apply to all shooting modes (except for sport continuous mode, Eand Fshooting modes, and movie mode).

Change the image size settings for sport continuous mode using the sport continuous menu (A58).
