The limited edition of the editing software program limits the number of clips in the sequence editor to 30. This number includes the clips on the audio tracks.
For instance, in the case of DVCPRO 50M format clips (usually one video and four audio channels), the number of clips has already reached 5.
In addition, the specifications of the sequence editor do not permit DVCPRO 50M and DVCPRO 25M clips to be mixed so data in the same format must be used to create a video sequence consisting of multiple clips.
The figure below shows an example of the display of a video sequence consisting of two clips.
