To remove the card
1Disable the card function.
AClick on the notification area and then click .
BSelect the card.
ADouble-click on the notification area and select the card, then click [Stop].
Follow the on-screen instructions. This step is not necessary when rem oving the card after turning off the
computer.
2Remove the card.
<For CF-C1/CF-S9 Series>
APush the eject button.
BDraw the card straight out.
<For CF-F9 Series>
ARaise the bent part of the eject button.
BPress the eject button so the card comes out of the slot.
CDraw the card straight out.
NOTE
Check the card’s specification to prevent the total operating current from exceeding th e allowable limit. Otherwise
malfunction may occur.
Allowable Current: 3.3 V: 400 mA, 5.0 V: 400 mA
After repeating insertion and removal, some types of card will not be reco gnized. In this case, restart the computer.
If the computer freezes after resuming from sleep/ standby or hibernation, remove and reinsert
the card. If the problem persists, restart the computer.
