PC Card

When a card is inserted, power consumption increases. Remove the card when it is not in use, especially when

operating by battery power.

To connect peripheral devices (SCSI, IEEE1394, etc.) using a PC Card, follow the steps below (one example).

AConnect the peripheral device to the card.

BTurn on the power of device.

CInsert the card until it securely fits in the slot.

Some PC Cards may not be recognized correctly. In this case, refer to “A PC Card does not work” ( page 175).
