PC Card
When a card is inserted, power consumption increases. Remove the card when it is not in use, especially when
operating by battery power.
To connect peripheral devices (SCSI, IEEE1394, etc.) using a PC Card, follow the steps below (one example).
AConnect the peripheral device to the card.
BTurn on the power of device.
CInsert the card until it securely fits in the slot.
Some PC Cards may not be recognized correctly. In this case, refer to “A PC Card does not work” ( page 175).
