∫Using a card reader/writer (commercially available)

Preparation:

Close all other running applications.

Insert the card into the unit.

1Select [Assist Data] on the [GPS/Sensor] menu, and then press [MENU/

SET].

2Press 3/4 to select [Update], and then press [MENU/SET].

3Press 3/4 to select [SD card], and then press [MENU/SET].

•The “GPS Assist Tool” is copied to the card.

4Turn this unit off and remove the card.

5Insert the card into the card reader/writer (commercially av ail able ) tha t is

connected to the PC.

6Launch the “GPS Assist Tool” with the PC.

For Windows:

Double-click [GPSASIST.EXE] stored in the [AD_LUMIX] folder of the card.

For Mac:

1Double-click [GPSASIST.DMG] stored in the [AD_LUMIX] folder of the card.

2Double-click [GPSASIST].

7Click [Update] on the screen of the PC.

•Proceed with the steps according to messages appearing on the PC.

When the update is complete, click [Exit].

•Do not disconnect the unit from the PC until the data has been updated.

8Remove the card.

9Insert the card into this unit and turn the unit on.

•The GPS assist data of this unit is updated.
