The altitude is recorded at 15 minute intervals and displayed as a graph.

1Select [Altimeter] on the [GPS/Sensor] menu, and then press [MENU/
SET].
2Press 3/4 to select [Logging], and then press [MENU/SET].
3Press 3/4 to select [ON], and then press
[MENU/SET].
AAltimeter log 12 hours before
BLatest altimeter log
•Press [DISP.] several times on the recording standby
screen until the altitude graph display screen appears. You can view a graph of the altimeter
log for the last 12 hours.
•In the following cases, altitude is not recorded.
–When [Airplane Mode] is set to [ON] and this unit is turned off
–When [Sensor Settings] is set to [OFF]
–Beach & Snorkeling Mode
–Advanced Underwater Mode
–When using [Time Lapse Shot]
–When connecting to a PC or a printer
–When recording motion pictures
Adding an altimeter log
The period up to when the [Logging] is set to [OFF] is saved as a single log file.
In the following cases, even if [Logging] is not set to [OFF], the record of the altitude as a
single log file will be interrupted.
•When the time settings are changed (including [AutoClock Set])
•When the [WorldTime] setting is changed
•When the battery remaining is [ ]
•When there is insufficient space on the card
