Using the [Motion Picture] Menu

For details on [Motion Picture] menu settings, refer to P64.

•[Photo Style], [Focus Mode], [Metering Mode], [i.Dynamic], [i.Resolution] and [Digital Zoom] are

common to both the [Rec] menu and [Motion Pi cture ] menu . Chan ging t hese s ettin gs in on e o f t hese

menus is reflected in other menu.

–For details, refer to the explanation for the corresponding setting in the [Rec] menu.

•[Motion Picture] menu is not displayed in the following cases.

–[Glistening Water]/[Glittering Illuminations ]/[Soft Image of a Flower] (Scene Guide Mode)

–[Soft Focus]/[Star Filter] (Creative Control Mode)

Applicable modes:

This sets up the data format of motion pictures.

[Rec Mode]

Settings Description of settings

[AVCHD] Select this format to record HD (high definition) video for playback on your

HDTV using an HDMI connection.

[MP4] Select this format to record standard definition video for playback on your PC.
