ISO sensitivity will adjust automatically depending on brightness within the maximum setting of [ISO400] ([ISO1000] when the flash is used) when [AUTO] is selected for [ISO LIMIT SET].

The setting is not available when [INTELLIGENT ISO] is being used. ([ ] is displayed.)

It is recommended to set the ISO sensitivity lower, adjust the [NOISE REDUCTION] under [FILM MODE] toward the positive side, or adjust the setting for each of the items other than [NOISE REDUCTION] toward the negative side if the noise is predominant. (P74)

Most appropriate sensitivity within the range set will be set depending on the brightness of the subject.

Applicable modes: [AUTO]/[200]/[400]/[800]/[1600]/[3200]

Note

The upper limit of the ISO sensitivity can be set.

The higher the value set for the ISO sensitivity, the more the jitter is reduced but the greater the amount of picture noise.

It will work when the [SENSITIVITY] is set to [AUTO] or [INTELLIGENT ISO] is set to [ON].

In sunlight, under incandescent lights or in other such conditions where the color of white takes on a reddish or bluish tinge, this item adjusts to the color of white which is closest to what is seen by the eye in accordance with the light source.
