When an original is placed on the Platen Glass,

Press	or	to select the size of the original on the

Platen Glass and press START to start dialing.

1.If you need a special access number to get an outside line, dial it first then press pause (represented by a "-") before dialing the full number.

2.If you are using Pulse dialing and you wish to change to Tone dialing in the middle of dialing, press TONE (represented by a "/").

The dialing mode will be changed from Pulse to Tone after dialing the digit "/".

3.To stop the transmission, press The display shows:

COMMUNICATION STOP? 1:YES 2:NO

CLEAR/STOP

Press "1" to stop the transmission. The Communication Journal will not print regardless of the printout mode setting of the Communication Journal.
