Copying scenes recorded in 3D

HDC-TM900

MENU : [COPY] # [ ] or [ ]

You can copy scenes recorded in 3D between the SD card and the built-in memory. (You

cannot copy scenes recorded in 3D when [] is selected.)

HDC-HS900

MENU : [COPY] # [ ] or [ ]

You can copy scenes recorded in 3D between the SD card and the HDD. (You cannot copy

scenes recorded in 3D when [ ] is selected.)

Select [VIDEO] > [SELECT SCENES] or [SELECT DATE] > [AVCHD].

When selecting scenes, select ones marked with 3D on the thumbnail display.

When selecting by date, select a date marked with 3D from the list of dates.

Using HD Writer AE 3.0

Please refer to page 125 for details about copying with HD Writer AE 3.0.

When you use HD Writer AE 3.0 to handle scenes recorded in 3D, the following operations are possible.

jCopying data to a PC

(Scenes recorded in 3D will be copied unaltered as 3D video.)

jCopying in BD/AVCHD format

(Scenes recorded in 3D will be copied unaltered as 3D video.)

jCopying in DVD-Video format

(Scenes recorded in 3D will be converted to 2D video when copied.)

jEditing

(The only types of editing possible on scenes recorded in 3D are Delete partially and Divide Scene.)

jOnline sharing

(Convert the scenes recorded in 3D to 2D video when uploading.)

jPlaying back on a PC

(3D video is played back as 2D video.)

When writing scenes recorded in 3D to a Blu-ray disc, DVD or SD card, a gray frame is displayed around the thumbnail.

Using a Mac

Scenes recorded in 3D are not supported by iMovie’11.
