Select the operation icons to add different effects to the images to be recorded.

¬Change the mode to or .

1 Select F using the cursor button and press the button in the centre to display the operation icons on the screen.

≥Select 1 at the bottom right of the screen and press the button in the centre to

change the page.

≥ Select F / F and press the button in the centre to display/not-display the operation icon.

2 (e.g. Backlight compensation)

Select an operation icon and press the button in the centre.

≥Select the operation icon and press the button in the centre again to cancel the function.

*1 It is not displayed in still picture recording mode.

*2 It is not displayed in the intelligent auto mode.

connected to the headphone output terminal.

≥If you turn off the unit or change the mode

to , PRE-REC, backlight compensation, colour night view and tele macro functions are cancelled.

≥If you turn off the unit, the fade function is cancelled.

≥It is possible to set from the menu. (Except for the PRE-REC)

≥After setting [DISPLAY] to [OFF] if no operation is performed for a few seconds, the operation icon disappears. Press any cursor button to display the icon again.
