Error messages on the display
If the unit detects a problem, the following messages will appear on the display.

The handset and handset cradle have been removed when you connect the power cord.
CHECK DOCUMENT | The document is not fed into the unit properly. Reinsert the document. If the | |
misfeeding occurs frequently, clean the document feeder rollers inside the unit | ||

| (see page 55). If the problem remains, adjust the feeder pressure (see page 54). |
CHECK MEMORY
Memory (phone numbers, parameters, etc.) has been erased.
A mechanical error occurred. Open the back lid and
MECHA ERROR
paper (see page 9).
NO RESPONSE
The receiving unit is busy or ran out of recording paper. Try again.
OUT OF PAPER
The unit ran out of recording paper. Install a new recording paper (see page 9).
PAPER JAMMED | A recording paper jam occurred. Clear the jammed paper (see page 52). | |

Troubleshooting Care Routine and
REDIAL TIME OUT
The receiving unit is busy or ran out of receiving paper. Try again.
The document is jammed. Remove the jammed document (see page 53).
REMOVE DOCUMENT Attempted to transmit a document longer than 600 mm (23 5/8"). Press the STOP button and remove the document (see page 53).
TRANSMIT ERROR
Divide the document into two or more sheets and try again.
A transmission error occurred. Try again.
UNIT OVERHEATED
The unit is too hot. Let the unit cool down.
