Feature/Code Selection
Setting the quick setup

You can print out the quick fax setup guide and select the desired receiving
mode depending on your situation.
{1} FAX ONLY (default): Use only as a fax (page 41).
{2} DIST. RING: With the Distinctive Ring service (page 48).
{3} EXT. TAM: With an external telephone answering machine (page 43).
{4} TEL ONLY: Mostly phone calls (page 42).

2. {Set}
3. Press {Set} again to print the quick fax setup guide.
LIf you do not wish to print it, press {Stop}.
4. Press {1} to {4} to display the desired setting.

Setting the date and time

Enter the date and time using the dial keypad. See page 21 for details.
Setting your logo

Enter your logo using the dial keypad. See page 21 for details.
Setting your fax number

Enter your fax number using the dial keypad. See page 22 for details.
Selecting the language

The display and reports will be in the selected language.
{1} ENGLISH (default): English is used.
{2} SPANISH: Spanish is used.

Setting the dialing mode

Note:
LIf the unit is connected via a PBX, PBX functions (transferring a call, etc.)
might not work correctly. Consult your PBX supplier for the correct setting.
