Finding the Controls

1.3 Button descriptions

A{Tone}

LTo change from pulse to tone temporarily during

dialing when your line has rotary/pulse service.

BStation keys

LTo use the one-touch dial feature (page 36, 39).

C{Broadcast}

LTo send a document to multiple parties (page 40).

D{Manual broad}

LTo send a document to multiple parties by storing

using the dial keypad (page 40).

E{Caller ID}

LTo use Caller ID features (page 46).

F{Fax}

LTo switch to the fax mode (page 18, 38).

G{Copy}

LTo switch to the copy mode (page 18, 33).

H{Auto Answer}

LTo turn the auto answer setting ON/OFF (page

41).

I{Scan}

LTo switch to the scan mode (page 18, 30).

J{Redial}{Pause}

LTo redial the last number dialed. If the line is busy

when you make a phone call using the {Monitor}

button, or when you send a fax, the unit will

automatically redial the number 1 time.

LTo insert a pause during dialing.

K{Handset Mute}

LTo mute your voice to the other party during a

conversation. Press again to resume the

conversation.

L{Flash}

LTo access special telephone services or for

transferring extension calls.
