A{MIC} (Microphone)

LThe built-in microphone.

B {GREETING REC}

LTo record a greeting message (page 33).

C{GREETING CHECK}

LTo check a greeting message (page 33).

LTo record a memo message (page 34).

LTo erase messages (page 33, 34).

F {AUTO ANSWER}

LTo turn the auto answer setting ON/OFF (page 27).

H{REDIAL}{PAUSE}

LTo redial the last number dialed. If the line is busy when you send a fax, the unit will automatically

redial the number 1 time.

LTo insert a pause during dialing.

I{FLASH}

LTo access special telephone services or for

transferring extension calls.

LThe flash time can be changed (feature #72 on page 41).

J{CALLER ID}

LTo use Caller ID features (page 20).

K{STOP}

LTo stop an operation or programming session. L To erase a character/number (page 17). Press

and hold to erase all characters/numbers.

LTo send a document to multiple parties (page 25).

M{HELP}

LTo print helpful information for reference purposes (page 15).

LTo start or exit programming.

Q{TONE}

LTo change from pulse to tone temporarily during dialing when your line has rotary pulse service. You can also use tone dial service by changing feature #13 on page 37.

LTo mute your voice during a conversation. Press again to resume the conversation.

S{SP-PHONE}

LFor speakerphone operation.

T{FAX START}

LTo send or receive a fax.

U{COPY}

LTo copy a document (page 31).
