Enter a phone number.

•If you misdial while dialling a number;

To erase one digit, press (Cancel)

briefly.

To erase all of the digits, press (Cancel)

firmly.

Then you can dial the correct number.

Press (Talk).

•The display starts showing the length of the

call about 7 seconds after dialling the last digit

(p. 48).

To dial after confirming the entered number

•If " " flashes and an alarm tone sounds after pressing to make a call,

move closer to the base unit. Then try again.

•If busy tones sound after pressing to make a call, the base unit

speakerphone (KX-TCD970E-B only) or another handset (p. 76) is in use.

To redial the last number dialled on the handset

Press (Talk), then press (Redial/Pause).

•The last number dialled is redialled automatically.

•Each time a different number is dialled, it overwrites the previous entered

number.
