The speaker volume level is set to "5". You can select:

•9 levels (0–8) while using the answering system

(p. 20, 60).

•8 levels (1–8) while using the speakerphone

– KX-TCD970E-B only (p. 29).

12 messages have been recorded.

When the number of messages (Ex. 64 messages)

flashes rapidly, memory is full. Erase some or all of the

messages (p. 62).

The recording time is set to "greeting only" (p. 24).

When is pressed to page another handset or

answer a page from another handset, the handset

number is displayed.
