Registering a Handset in the Base Unit

Each optional handset that you purchase must be registered in the base unit

before use.

•Charge the optional handset battery for about 3 hours before initial use.

•Be sure that the power is ON (p. 17) and you are in the stand-by mode.

•Register the handset number within 1 minute. If it is not registered within

1 minute, press (Program) on the handset to cancel the programming

mode. Then start from step 1 again.

Base unit:

Press and hold (Locator/Intercom) for

more than 10 seconds until the in use

indicator ( ) lights.

Handset:

Press (Program).
