Replacing the Battery

If " " flashes after a few telephone calls even when the handset battery has

been fully charged, it is time to change the battery with a new one. Remember

to charge the new battery after battery replacement.

Turn the power OFF to prevent memory loss (p. 17).

Remove the handset cover, then remove the battery.

Replace the battery with a new

one as shown.

•When you finish, close

the handset cover and turn

the power ON (p. 17).

Be sure to charge the new battery

for 3 hours.

•If you do not charge the new

battery, " " will not be

displayed correctly.

•Discard a defective battery as soon as possible. Adefective battery may leak

into the unit.

•Please use only a Panasonic HHR-P101E (KX-TCA10CE) battery.

•If the rechargeable battery is not inserted correctly, the handset will not work.
