During the intercom:

•If two tones sound, an incoming call has been received.To answer, press

(Talk) twice or (Locator/Intercom) and (Digital

speakerphone) (KX-TCD970E-B only). The intercom is ended.

Transferring a Call Using the Intercom (KX-TCD970E-B only)

The intercom can be used during a call. This feature enables you to transfer a

call between the handset and the base unit.

From the handset to the base

During a call, press

(Intercom) then .

•The call is put on hold and " "

is displayed.

•If the base unit user does not

answer, press (Intercom).

Press (Locator/Intercom)

to answer the page.

Transferring a call:

•The transfer is completed.

The base unit user can answer
