•If two tones sound, an incoming call has been received. To answer, press

(Talk) twice or (Locator/Intercom) and (Digital speakerphone) (KX-TCD970E-B only). The intercom is ended.

Transferring a Call Using the Intercom (KX-TCD970E-B only)

The intercom can be used during a call. This feature enables you to transfer a call between the handset and the base unit.

From the handset to the base unit

1 Handset:

During a call, press INT (Intercom) then 0 .

•The call is put on hold and " " is displayed.

•If the base unit user does not answer, press INT (Intercom).

2 Base unit:

Press (Locator/Intercom) to answer the page.

3 TransferringHandset: a call:

Press (Talk).

•The transfer is completed. The base unit user can answer the call.

OR

Ending the intercom:

Handset:

Press INT

•The handset returns to the call.
