Selecting the Dialling Mode

You can program the dialling mode byusing the handset near the base unit.

If you have touch tone service, set to TONE. If rotary or pulse service is used,

set to PULSE. The factory preset is 1 (TONE).

Press (Program), then (Intercom).

•" " and " " are displayed.

Press .

Enter the base unit password.

•The factory preset of the base unit password is

0000. If you have changed the base unit

password (p. 47), enter the new password.

Press .

•The current setting is displayed.

To select PULSE, press .

To select TONE, press .

When finished, press (Program).

•Aconfirmation tone sounds.

•" " and " " go out.

•To cancel during programming, press

(Program), then start from step 1.

Be sure that the power is ON (p. 17) and you are in the stand-by mode.
