Routed means a ‘routed WAN service’ and Bridged means a ‘bridged WAN service.’
DHCP Server and DHCP Relay cannot be used simultaneously.
NAT can be used only if a Routed WAN service is configured.
1If a DHCP Server were used with a Bridged WAN service, the DHCP server would respond to IP address requests from both interfaces, that is, the Ethernet and the WAN serial interfaces.
2When NAT is used together with DHCP Relay, the WAN service must be routed.
3When DHCP Relay is used with a Bridged WAN service, the DHCP server must be on the same subnet as the clients and the IPLink.
