Attach a lens and turn the camera on. The [Input Focal Length] screen appears.

1 Make sure that [Shake Reduction] is set to k(On) and turn the camera off.

3 Turn the rear e-dial (S) to set the focal length.

Select from the following focal length values. (The default setting is 35 mm.)

4 Shooting

• If the focal length for your lens is not listed above, select the value closest to the actual focal length (example: [18] for 17 mm and [100] for 105 mm).

•When using a zoom lens, select the actual focal length at the zoom setting being used.

4 Press the 4button.

The camera is ready to take a picture.

To change the focal length setting, use [Input Focal Length] in the [ARec. Mode 4] menu.

Shooting with Self-timer

g Self-timer

Shutter is released after about 12 seconds. Use this mode to

(12 sec.)

include the photographer in the picture.

ZSelf-timer

A mirror pops up immediately after the shutter release button is

pressed. The shutter is released after about 2 seconds. Use this mode

(2 sec.)

to avoid camera shake when the shutter release button is pressed.
