Press the shutter release button halfway.

The autofocus system operates.

Press the shutter release button fully.

The composite picture is displayed in Instant Review each time the shutter release button is pressed. Press the ibutton during Instant Review to discard pictures taken up to that point and take pictures again from the first frame.

The pictures are saved when the set number of shots are taken, and then the [Multi-exposure] screen appears again.

•If any of the following operations are performed while shooting, the pictures that have been already taken are saved and Multi-exposure is ended.

-when the Q button, 3button, four-way controller (2345), M button or /Ybutton is pressed

-when the mode dial is turned

•When shooting in Multi-exposure mode using Live View, a semi-transparent composite image of the pictures taken is displayed. (It is not displayed when the camera is connected to an AV device.)
