IP/Subnet Filtering Mode – to temporarily disallow a registered user accessing a NetCam2, the access IP addresses can be changed. If ‘IP/Subnet Filtering Mode’ is disable, anyone can access the NetCam2 through a Web browser with any PC.

Select 'Enable' to activate the IP/Subnet filtering mode.

Note: A Subnet is identified by entering 0’s in the Subnet section of the IP address e.g. entry 192.168.1.0 affects all users in the 192.168.1.x class C network.

Default policy

Select 'Allow' to enable access to the NetCam2 for anyone. The filter rules define the IP addresses that are denied access.

Select 'Deny' to disable access to the NetCam2. The filter rules define the IP addresses that are allowed access. He administrator can always access the NetCam2 irrespective of IP filter settings.
