Display panel symbols/ messages
The following symbols/messages may appear on your recorder display:
00:00
Multifunction display/ text line
–Title/track number
–Total/elapsed/remaining title/track time
–Disc/title name
–Additional information regarding the disc
–TV channel number or source of video
–Clock (This is displayed in Standby mode).
–TV program title
XTIMER
A timer recording has been programmed or is active.
BLANK
No recordings on the disc.
BLOCKED
The disc tray cannot be opened or closed due to some mechanical obstruction.
CLOSING
Disc tray is closing.
DISC
The disc edit menu is on.
EMPTY
No recordings in the hard disk drive.
UPDATE
Please wait until the blinking message disappears. The disc is being formatted or data is being written to it.
MENU
The system setup menu, disc menu, title menu or timer menu display is on.
HDDMENU
The hard disk menu display is on.
NO DISC
No disc has been inserted. If a disc has been inserted, then it is possible that the disc cannot be read.
NOSIGNAL
No signal or poor signal strength.
OPEN
Disc tray is opened or opening.
PRO SCAN
Lights up when progressive scan is activated.
READING
Disc is being recognized by the recorder.
PHILIPS
The recorder has been turned on.
UNKNOWM
The disc cannot be read.
SCANXXX
Please wait until this message disappears. The recorder is busy processing an operation. XXX indicates the number of found channels, and is constantly updated
¡_CHXXX
In time shift mode, where XXX indicates the input video source or channel number of tuner input.
