General
DVD's are divided in titles and chapters.
ODuring playback, press OVto go to the next title. If there
are several chapters within a title, the next chapter.
OPress NUto return to the start of the current
title/chapter.
OPress NUtwice to return to the start of the previous
title/chapter.
Use the T/C Y(title/chapter) button
- Press T/C Y(title/chapter) and then use AIor BOto select
the appropriate title.
Make sure the symbol 'T' (title) is selected in the menu bar.
- Use T/C Yto select chapters within a title. Press T/C Yand use
CMto select the 'C' symbol (chapter).
Now select the appropriate chapter with AIor BO.
Searching on disc [DVD, (S)VCD, CD]
You can search the disc for a recording at 4x, 8x or 32x playback
speed. The numbers are for indication of the different speeds only. For
certain discs it can be different.
1During playback, press and hold NU(reverse) or
OV(forwards) to switch to the search feature.
OYou can switch between the playback speeds using
NU/OV.
2To continue playback, press PLAY GRat your chosen
location.
aNo sound
bThe sound is switched off in search mode. This is not a fault in your
machine.
Still picture [DVD, (S)VCD, CD]
1During playback, press PAUSE 9Qto stop playback and display
a still picture.
Frame advance via menu bar
- During a still picture press SYSTEM MENU Aon the remote
control. The menu bar will appear at the top of the screen.
- Select the 'I' symbol using CMor DKand confirm with
BO.
- You can now use the DKor CMbutton to go forwards or
backwards one frame at a time.
- If necessary, switch the menu bar off with the SYSTEM
MENU Abutton.
2To continue playback, press PLAY GR.
Slow motion [DVD, (S)VCD, CD]
1During playback press PAUSE 9Qon the remote control.
Now hold down NUor OVto switch to slow motion.
OYou can switch between different speeds using NUor
OV.
Slow motion via menu bar
- During playback press PAUSE 9Qand then SYSTEM
MENU Aon the remote control. The menu bar will appear at the top
of the screen.
- Select the 'J' symbol using CMor DKand confirm with
BO.
- You can now use the DKor CMbutton to select different
forward and backward slow motion speeds.
- If necessary, switch the menu bar off with the SYSTEM
MENU Abutton.
2To continue playback, press PLAY GRtwice.
