BDo not switch on the device immediately after transport from a cold to a warm room or vice versa, or under conditions of extreme humidity.

Wait at least three hours after transporting the device. The DVD recorder needs this time to acclimate to its new environment (temperature, relative humidity, etc.).

BWhen installing the recorder in a cupboard, ensure there is a gap of approximately 5 cm (2 inch) around the recorder to enable air to circulate freely and prevent overheating.

BMake sure that no objects or liquids enter into the DVD recorder. Do not place vases or the like on the DVD recorder. If you spill liquid into the recorder, immediately disconnect it from the power supply and call after-sales service for advice.

BKeep the DVD recorder away from radiators and other heat sources and protect it from direct sunlight.

BDo not place any combustible objects on the device (candles, etc.).
