9.1.13 Enable/disable the record indicator

This fuction allows you to switch off the status LED.

1In stop mode (start-up screen), press MENU.

2Press H/ B to select the device settings menu Õ.

3Press + / – to select the Record lamp function.

4Press the record key, G, to confirm.

5Press + / – to enable/disable the LED indicator.

6Press the record key, G, to confirm.

7Press the J key to exit the menu.

Tip

Press the J key to cancel the operation without saving and return to the stop mode.

9.1.14 Selecting an external sound source

If you connect an external microphone to the device, the recording source will switch automatically and the device's microphone will be turned off. When you connect a mono microphone or an amplified recording source (e.g. a stereo system) to the microphone port (DVT3000 – DVT7000), you should set the external source.

1In stop mode (start-up screen), press MENU.

2Press the H/ B key to select the record settings menu Ó.

3Press + / – to select the External input function.

4Press the record key, G, to confirm.

5Press + / – to connect an external mono or stereo microphone, or an amplified recording source (Line-in).

6Press the record key, G, to confirm.

7Press the J key to exit the menu.

XX When you use Line-in, the Ë icon will be displayed.

Tip

Press the J key to cancel the operation without saving and return to the stop mode.
