WPA Personal

110 Psion Teklogix 9160 G2 Wireless Gateway User Manual

The Personal version of WPA employs a pre-shared key (instead of using IEEE

802.1x and EAP as is used in the Enterprise WPA security mode). The PSK is used

for an initial check of credentials only. This sec urity mode i s backwar ds-compati ble

for wireless clients that support the original WPA.

If you selected “WPA Personal” Security Mode, complete the settings as desc ribed

in Table10.11 on page 111.
