4. Press MENU. The set up menu disappears.
Notes:
If you select ALL or BLANK, the Model 28
is set to automatic repeat playback even
after you turn it off. To turn off repeat play,
you must select OFF in Step 3.
During automatic repeat playback, none of
the buttons on the Model 28 work except
POWER and STOP/EJECT. Always remem-
ber to set REPEAT PLAY to OFF when
you do not want to use automatic repeat
playback.
IMPROVING PLAYBACK OF OLDER (WORN)/DAMAGED TAPE S
You can set the Model 28 so it reduces the on-
screen noise you might see when you play back
older, partially demagnetized tapes (such as
tapes that are played often, like rental videos).
Note: When RENTAL PLAY is ON, the image
itself might not be as sharp.
1. Press MENU. The main menu appears on
the TV screen.
2. Press 7 on the remote control to select
USER’S SET UP. The set up menu ap-
pears on the TV screen.
3. Press 2. ON appears next to RENTAL.
To cancel rental play, press 2 again. OFF
appears next to RENTAL.
4. If you set RENTAL PLAY to ON, press
MENU then press PLAY to start rental play.
RENTAL PLAY appears on the TV
screen.
If you set rental play to OFF, simply press
MENU.
Note:
If you select ON, rental play stays on even
after you turn off the Model 28. To turn off rental
play, you must select OFF in Step 3.
