Customer Benefits

Allows for a professional appearance for page elements with non-like colours next to each other.

Independent of source application or driver.

No need for users to have knowledge of trapping rules

Much faster than conventional trapping (standalone applications).

Spot On (Option)

Even though the Fiery controller can print Pantone matched colours, there will be times when the operator finds it useful to tweak individual colour settings; perhaps to adjust a pantone colour used across a number of documents. Using Spot On, the user can make the adjustment without having to open each document in the original application.

With the Spot On option, the user can instruct the Fiery to look for a particular named colour or RGB/CMYK value and replace it with another Named Colour or CMYK value. Using this method a more consistent output is achieved regardless of application or the user’s ability.

When Installed, Spot On is available from the ColourWise Tools Main Screen.

Once an Output Profile is selected you can see the colour Libraries that are installed within the Fiery Controller.

If you know the CMYK mix for the colour it can be programmed here. Or you can use the Colour Search window to “Mix” the colour on Screen. Replacement colours can be programmed in the same way and then instructed to replace the original colour(s)

Customer Benefits

Automatic matching of Pantone library colours with their best CMYK equivalents. Support of Branding efforts to standardize the appearance of corporate colours Increased productivity by streamlining the submission process of files with specific colour patterns

Reduce time of rework giving the option to edit colours without going back to the original application
