BEFORE READING THE USER’S MANUAL

Make sure to check the following terms before reading the user’s manual.

Icons that will be used in manual

Icon	Term	Definition
Z	DVD	This involves a function available with DVD or DVD-R(V)/DVD-RW(V)/+R discs
		that have been recorded and fi nalized.
X	RAM	This involves a function available with DVD-RAM discs.
C	-RW	This involves a function available with DVD-RW discs.

V-R This involves a function available with DVD-R discs.

K	+RW	This involves a function available with DVD+RW discs.
L	+R	This involves a function available with DVD+R discs.
B	CD	This involves a function available with a data CD (CD-R or CD-RW).
G	JPEG	This involves a JPEG function available with CD-R/-RW or DVD±R/±RW/-
		RAM discs.
A	MP3	This involves an MP3 function available with CD-R/-RW or DVD±R/±RW/-
		RAM discs.
	VHS	This involves a function available with VIDEO Tape.
J	Caution	This involves a case where a function does not operate or settings may be
		cancelled.
M	NOTE	This involves tips or instructions on the page that help each function operate.
N	One-Touch	A function that can be operated by using only one button.
