Applications

The following is an alphabetical list of the applications that come preloaded on your device.

Alarm: Schedule alarms to remind you of appointments or events, or as a wake-up. For more information, refer to “Alarm” on page 144.

AllShare PlayTM: Share your on-device media content with other external devices using DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) and built-in AllShare Play technology. For more information, refer to “AllShare Play” on page 146.

Amazon Kindle: Download Amazon® books to read on your device. A shortcut to Amazon KindleTM displays on a Home screen by default. For more information, refer to “Amazon Kindle” on page 148.

Calculator: The calculator provides the basic arithmetic functions to solve simple arithmetic problems and advanced operators to solve more complex problems. For more information, refer to “Calculator” on page 148.

Camera: Take photos or record videos. A shortcut to Camera displays on the Home screen by default. For more information, refer to “Camera” on page 117.

ChatON: A smart-messaging app that gives you a host of innovative ways to stay connected with all your friends and family, regardless of their device or platform. For more information, refer to “ChatON” on page 78.

Contacts: Save and manage contact information for your friends and colleagues. For more information, refer to “Contacts and Accounts” on page 51.

Downloads: Files, apps, and other items you download in Internet, Gmail, Email, or in other ways, are stored on your tablet’s internal storage. Use the Downloads app to view, reopen, or delete what you have downloaded. For more information, refer to “Downloads” on page 149.
