QSound is recorded abnormally when I select the Acoustic Echo Cancellation option, connect an external microphone, select the Play Device > Speaker > Level tab and then deselect Mute for the Microphone.
AThis occurs because the algorithm used to remove the echo sound regards some of the sound as an echo and removes this, as the recording is done by playing the sound from the external microphone.
After selecting the Acoustic Echo Cancellation option, please select the Play Device > Speaker > Level tab and select Mute for the Microphone for a normal recording.

QI cannot hear the modem
A1 Check if the phone line is properly connected to the modem.
A2 Check if the modem driver is properly installed.
z ► For Windows 7
Click Start > Control Panel > System and security > System > Device Manger
and then check if the modem is not marked with a yellow exclamation mark. If it is marked with an exclamation mark, it means that the modem driver is not properly installed. In this case, remove the installed driver and install the driver again.
►For Windows Vista
Click Start > Control Panel > System and
Maintenance > System > Device Manager
and then check if the modem is not marked with a yellow exclamation mark. If it is marked with an exclamation mark, it means that the modem driver is not properly installed. In this case, remove the installed driver and install the driver again.

In this case, restart the system or reinstall the modem driver and then diagnose the modem again.
