KITCHEN TV

Kitchen TV lets you watch TV on your refrigerator.

It is available only if the refrigerator is connected to the same network as a compatible Samsung TV. For instructions explaining how to connect the refrigerator to your network, see page 80.

Kitchen TV is available only with Samsung 6000 series Smart TVs released since 2013.

You can switch channels directly on the refrigerator. However, channel switching is enabled only if the TV’s input is set to TV (Air/Cable). If the TV’s input is set to AV or Component Mode, you can view the TV screen, but cannot switch channels.

The first connection requires authentication. -- For Samsung TV models released in 2013

At the first connection, you will see a window that asks you to allow external access to the TV. -- For TV models released in 2014

At the first connection, you will see a PIN code on the TV. At the same time, the refrigerator will display a PIN input screen. Enter the PIN code displayed on the TV into the refrigerator’s PIN input screen.

1.Turn on the TV, and then select the [Kitchen TV] button on the Home screen.

2.The refrigerator scans for compatible TVs, and then displays a list of TVs available.

2-1. After scanning for available TVs, the refrigerator displays a guidance message if no TVs are found.
