REDIAL/PAUSE

The Redial/Pause button has two functions. It can be used to redial the number last called or it can be used to insert a pause in a number when you are setting up a One-Touch or Speed Dial number.

To Redial the Number Last Called

Press Redial/Pause.

The number is dialed

If a document is loaded in

the document tray, the TX machine automatically

begins to send.

ÃIf this is a phone call, pick up the handset when the other person answers.

To Insert a Pause

With some private telephone systems, you must dial an access code (9, for example) and listen for a second dial tone before dialing an outside number. In such cases, you must insert a pause in the number when you are setting up a One-Touch or Speed Dial number.

While entering the number, press

Redial/Pause.

Flash

Redial/ Pause

Volume/Scroll

ÃWhen you dial a number, the dialing process pauses for about 3 seconds at the point where you pressed

Redial/Pause.

If you require a longer pause time, press Redial/Pause twice.
