Chatting with contacts

1.To open a chat window, scroll to the contact with whom you want to chat.

2.Press the Menu soft key and select Send Message.

3.Enter your message in the text entry area at the bottom of the screen, or press the Menu soft key and select My Text to enter a preset message.

To invite another contact to a multi user chat, press the Menu soft key, select Invite, and select the contact you want to invite.

To switch back to the main window, press the Menu soft key and select My contacts. To revert back to your chat window, press the Menu soft key, select Chats, and select the person whom you were chatting with.

4.To end the chat, press the Menu soft key and select End Chat.

Using the Hotmail service

You can send and read e-mail messages on the phone via the Microsoft Hotmail service.

Composing and sending an e-mail

1.On the Pocket MSN screen, select Compose Hotmail.

2.Compose an e-mail as you would in the Messaging program.
