ALARM RECORDING

Alarm Recording Counter Display

œDuring alarm recording, “A” will be flashing on the digital display.

œIf the ON SCREEN switch is set to the “ON” position, the alarm recording type “PRE ALARM, ALARM or POST ALARM” and the number of alarms will flash on the monitor screen.

œThe maximum display number of alarm recordings is “999”, at the next alarm recording the counter will indicate “000”.

œWhen the (ALARM LOG) menu is displayed, press the MENU RESET button to reset the alarm counter to “000” (all the data of the (ALARM LOG) menu is reset).

Connections to the ALARM IN/OUT Terminals

œAlarm input signal

Connect a make-contact (no voltage) switch between the ALARM IN and COM terminals.

œAlarm output signal

Normally DC 5V are output between the ALARM OUT and the COM terminals. When an alarm input (trigger) is received and the unit is recording, the output falls to 0V. Once the alarm recording is over, the output returns to DC 5V.

ALARM RESET IN terminal

œIf the circuit between the ALARM RESET IN terminal and COM terminals is closed during alarm recording, alarm recording mode is canceled.

Checking the Alarm Recordings Time

The date and time of up to 100 alarm recordings can be displayed.

1Press the MENU button to display the (MAIN MENU 1) menu.

2Press the SHIFT ] (or \) button until the (MAIN MENU 2) menu is displayed.

3Press the SHIFT ] (or \) button to select the “2. ALARM LOG” line, then press the MENU button.

øThe (ALARM LOG) menu appears.

øThe number of alarm recordings, and the 10 most recent alarm recording times are displayed.

NOTE:

œContinue pressing the SHIFT ] button to display the next 10 alarm recordings entries. When the number of alarm recording entries reaches 100, the older ones are erased as new ones are memorized.

4Press the MENU EXIT button, the normal screen is displayed.

NOTE:

œIf the MENU RESET button is pressed while the (ALARM LOG) menu is displayed, the displayed data is erased. “A” will be erased from the digital display.
