Indicators and Projector Condition

Check the indicators for projector condition.

The projector is operating normally..

			Indicators
POWER			WARNING	WARNING	LAMP	Projector Condition
red/green			TEMP.	FILTER	REPLACE
			red	orange	yellow
						The projector is off. (The AC power cord is unplugged.)
						The projector is in stand-by mode. Press the POWER
						ON/STAND-BY button to turn on the projector.
	green					The projector is operating normally.
						The projector is preparing for stand-by or the projection
						lamp is being cooling down. The projector cannot be
blinking fast red						turned on until cooling is completed.
		green				The projector is in the Power management mode.

	green					The filter is scrolled using the Filter control function in the
						setting menu.
						When the filter is being scrolled, the Filter replacement
						icon and “Please wait...” message (Fig. 1) appear on the
						screen for about 30 seconds.

The projector is detecting abnormal condition..

						The temperature inside the projector is elevated close to

						The temperature inside the projector is abnormally high.
						The projector cannot be turned on. When the projector
						is cooled down enough and the temperature returns to
blinking fast red			blinking fast red			normal, the POWER indicator lights red and the projector
						can be turned on. (The WARNING TEMP. indicator keeps
						blinking.) Check and replace the filter.
