Adjusting the Phone’s Volume Settings

Adjusting the Ringer Volume

1. Select > Settings > Sounds > Volume > Ringer.

2. Select a volume level and press (left softkey).

Tip:You can adjust the ringer volume in standby mode (or the earpiece

volume during a call) by using .

You can make the ringer vibrate at any volume level by checking the

box next to Always Vibrate.

Adjusting the Alert Volume

This setting controls the alert volume for 10-4,Voicemail,

Messaging,and Calendar/Alarm. You can set the alert volume

separately from the ringer volume setting.

1. Select > Settings > Sounds > Volume > Advanced Ring..

2. Select10-4,Voicemail,Messaging,orCal./Alarm.

3. Using the navigation key,select Separate Vol.

4. Select a volume level,and press (left softkey).

Adjusting the Phone’s Receiver Volume

1. Select > Settings > Sounds > Volume > Receiver.

2. Select either Earpieceor Speaker.

3. Select a volume level,and press (left softkey).

Adjusting the Application, Start-up/Power-off, or Key Beep Volume

1. Select > Settings > Sounds > Volume.

2. SelectApplication,StartUp/PwOff, or Key Beep.

3. Select a volume level,and press (left softkey).
