Answering Calls
To answer an incoming call:
1. Make sure your phone is on.(If your phone is off, incoming
calls go to voicemail.)
2. Press or to answer an incoming call.
Your phone notifies you of incoming calls in the following ways:
䢇The phone rings and/or vibrates.
䢇The LED flashes.
䢇The backlight illuminates.
䢇The screen displays an incoming call message.
䢇If available,the phone number of the caller is displayed.
䢇If the phone number is in your Contacts,the Contacts entry’s
name is displayed.
The following options are also displayed by pressing
(right softkey).
䢇Answerto answer the call.
䢇Answer:Speakerto answer the call in speakerphone mode.
䢇Select Audioto switch the call to your desired device (if
available).
䢇Answer on Holdto put the call on hold. (See “Setting Answer
on Hold”on the next page.)
䢇Screen Callto answer the call by using pre-recorded
announcement.(See “Setting Up Screen Call” on page 80.)
䢇Quiet Ringerto mute the ringer. (This feature appears when
the ringer is set.)
